WynnBET, New York Jets Sign Multi-Year Partnership Agreement

WynnBET, the mobile sports betting app from Wynn Resort and New York Jets have announced a multi-year partnership where the operator will become the official sports betting partner of the team.

The agreement includes the entitlement of the WynnBET Green Room at MetLife Stadium for Jets game days as well as presenting partnership of the Jets Podcast Network and the Jets SportsNet NY Pre and Post Game Live shows. The official Jets podcast is hosted by team reporter Eric Allen and Jets legend, Leger Douzable.

Terms of the deal

The Jets podcast network is distributed across NYJets.com, the Official Jets App, YouTube, iHeartMedia, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Apple Podcasts, and SoundCloud. Additionally, the Jets Pre and Post Game Live TV shows on SNY, featuring NFL insiders and Jets Legends, will be presented by WynnBET and air immediately before and after each Jets game.

The centerpiece of the relationship, a statement explained, is the WynnBET Green Room, a ticketed, 21 years-old and over all-inclusive food and beverage hospitality space at Jets home games. The luxury club space, approximately 4,800 square feet, will provide an immersive sportsbook experience, allowing ticketed Jets fans access to live WynnBET betting content such as point spreads, game totals, in-play wagering and more.

Wynn Interactive is the online gaming division of Wynn Resorts, Ltd. It offers a world-class collection of casino and sports betting mobile options. Wynn Interactive products operate under the WynnBET, WynnSLOTS, and BetBull brands.

Massive NFL deals

When it comes to new partnerships, the New York Jets have been busy in recent times. 

The team signed a sponsorship deal with FuboTV's sports betting arm Fubo Sportsbook. The multi-year agreement centers around the creation of the Fubo Sportsbook Lounge at MetLife Stadium for Jets home games, set to debut during the 2021-22 NFL season, which will also feature the first authorized mobile sports betting lounge at the stadium in New Jersey.

“This partnership with Fubo Sportsbook is another major step for the New York Jets in our journey to prioritize engagement with our fan base, including the enhancement of their overall stadium experience on game day. With Fubo Sportsbook, Jets fans will be treated to their innovative mobile viewing and wagering platform, which will be brought to life at the dynamic new Fubo Sportsbook Lounge,” said Fernandez.

On the other hand, in August, the National Football League reached deals with FOX Bet, BetMGM, PointsBet, and WynnBet to make them Approved Sportsbook Operators in advance of the 2021 season.

According to the deal, each sportsbook is allowed to purchase NFL in-game commercial units and other select NFL media inventory. The NFL permits Fox, CBS, NBC, and ESPN to sell up to six commercial spots during game broadcasts to sports betting partners.

Nana-Yaw Asamoah, vice president of business development for the NFL, said: “We are pleased to announce this select group as approved sportsbook operators. Along with our three official sports betting partners, this group of operators will help the league to engage fans in responsible and innovative ways this season as the sports betting landscape continues to evolve.”

There are now seven sportsbook operators approved by the NFL for exclusive rights.
