Ontario Lottery and Gaming Adding Blueprint's Games

Ontario lottery’s online site OLG.ca is now offering its customers a more enhanced gambling experience thanks to its new deal with Blueprint Games. In the next few weeks, punters will be able to access some of Blueprint’s most innovative games. Some of the games that OLG.ca customers will have to choose from include The Goonies, as well as the Megaways collection that is made up of mainstay titles such as Diamond Mine and Buffalo Rising.

Not too long ago, OLG.ca celebrated a milestone; one million player registrations on the online sites. This new partnership with Blueprint will ensure that its customers have a wide array of games to choose from, which is vital as Canada’s gaming market continues to grow its iGaming industry even further.

UK-based Blueprint has made a name for itself for creating innovative high-quality games that offer punters an array of methods to win. Already, OLG has debuted its first Blueprint title on its website; Buffalo Rising Megaways. When punters sign up, they are awarded a $300 bonus immediately.

OLG’s digital platform has been around since October 2020. Just recently, OLG introduced a new mobile app that enables its customers to access a one-stop-shop to purchase lottery tickets as well as play their casino games. This app will also give punters access to important information that will allow them to make informed betting decisions.

This app was launched in partnership with Bede Gaming, which is the platform that OLG used when debuting its digital services back in 2020. This newly released app allows bettors to access jackpot information as well as the unique lottery ticket scanner feature without having to log in first.

Customers can also make purchases, play the array of online casino games available, as well as make deposits and withdrawals through the app. The app is already being used by Android devices and iOS compatibility will soon follow.

What’s so great about this app is that OLG has also incorporated its PlaySmart tools within the app. This means that punters can now access vital betting facts before they play. They can also set personal wagering limits so that they can have a fresh and exciting experience with each login.

OLG also making good on its expansion plans

OLG is also looking to boost its brand awareness and customer satisfaction having teamed up recently with AGS. AGS now supplies OLG with a wide range of digital games including the popular Golden Wins title. As mentioned earlier, OLG is always looking for new and interesting ways to make their customers’ experience better.

This partnership with AGS will enhance the overall customer experience and deliver the experience that punters want without turning to offshore betting sites. OLG has grown from strength to strength ever since it partnered up with Bede Gaming late last year with its player growth spiking by 120% between 2020 and 2021.

With partners like Blueprint and AGS, OLG.ca now has one of the widest selections of games available for its punters.  OLG is so focused on growth that it intends to double the number of slot games it offers to its customers to more than 300 titles before the end of the year.

This expanded library of slot games is just one step in a long line of steps that OLG is going to make towards its digital growth strategy. Soon enough, the platform will be able to offer live casino and sports betting features, which means that it will soon offer comprehensive entertainment and gambling options for punters that are in the market for variety.

AGS is one of the most popular slot machine providers in the industry. AGS offers exciting bonus features that engage players of all levels, both novice and experienced.  As Ontario’s only legal gambling site, the revenue that is generated by OLG has helped the province in more ways than one especially during this tough period of the ongoing pandemic.

Ontario’s stake in single-event sports betting

As OGS continues to pursue its plans for expansion in iGaming, it will also be keen to observe how it can benefit from the newly legalized single event betting in the country. Even though sports betting has been part of the gambling culture in the country for years, punters have never been able to wager on single-event sports. Instead, they have always had other options such as pro-Line and parlay betting but never an option to wager on a solitary game.

This has all changed now that Bill c-218 has finally received the Royal Assent it needs to make single-event sports betting legal. Up until the bill was legalized, the only options that punters had to wager on single event betting was to travel abroad to gambling cities such as Atlantic City or Vegas on momentous events such as the Super Bowl.

Those without the means or budget to travel would resort to illegal offshore betting sites, many of which do not bother to offer player guarantees or protections of any kind. As a result, in the last 10 years or so, a consortium of underground bookmakers has been thriving in the absence of single-event betting.

And with the availability of smartphones and internet proliferation, Canadians have been spending billions with offshore bookies such as Bodog and Bet365 as legal gambling entities such as OGA watch by idly. Now that single event betting is legal, Canada is hoping that it will be able to keep much-needed revenues within its borders as it looks for ways to recover economically from the pandemic.

Illegal bookmakers and offshore betting sites have been generating millions in annual profits. But these profits will now be kept within the borders and put to good use such as improving the country’s infrastructure as well as enhancing our healthcare system.

Final Thoughts

Now that Bill-C218 has been passed, entities such as OGA will want to get in on this new sports betting wave. For now, though, OGA will keep offering its customers an enhanced gambling experience with a difference thanks to its wide range of game titles and offerings.
